Postpartum Meal Preparation Services Nourishment That Heals from the Inside Out
At Full Circle Baby, we believe postpartum healing begins in the kitchen. Rooted in Ayurvedic wisdom and modern nutritional science, our in-home meal preparation services are designed to ground, warm, and deeply nourish the birthing body. This is not just food—it’s medicine, made with care and intention by women who understand what new families truly need.
This unique offering is a collaboration between three caregivers passionate about postpartum wellness:
Meet Your Team
Carri Boulanger, Nutritionist: Carri crafts seasonal, nutrient-rich menus that promote tissue healing, lactation, hormone balance, and digestion. Her recipes reflect both her clinical knowledge and a deep reverence for the body’s intuitive healing capacities. She draws inspiration from whole-food philosophies and integrates warming foods, grounding spices, and gentle digestion support in line with Ayurvedic postpartum principles.
Jamie Ann Speiss, Culinary Whiz & Home Organizer: Jamie is the heart of our kitchen magic. With years of experience as a cook, nanny, and household manager, she knows how to move through a home with grace and efficiency. She preps your meals, organizes your kitchen, and leaves everything clean, cozy, and full of nourishing meals—all without disturbing your rhythm.
Camilla Rae, Postpartum Doula & Nutritionist-in-Training: Camilla’s postpartum work is rooted in the teachings of Ayurveda and modern nutrition. A student of Danielle Hanna, she incorporates principles like warmth, oil, softness, and rest into every aspect of care. She’s currently completing her postpartum nutrition certification and offers gentle guidance on what your body truly needs after birth—physically and emotionally.
What We Offer
Our meal preparation is based on Ayurvedic postpartum teachings and customized to your specific needs. We prioritize:
Warmth: Warm foods, warming spices, teas, and oils to ignite digestion and calm the nervous system.
Moisture: Soups, stews, porridges, and infused broths that hydrate and replenish.
Simplicity: Meals that are easy to digest, rich in prana (life force), and simple to reheat or serve.
Connection: Meals cooked in your home by loving hands, bringing nourishment into the center of your space.
How It Works
Step 1: Discovery Call. We begin with a free 20-minute consultation to learn your preferences, birth details, and any specific needs (allergies, cultural foods, healing protocols, etc.).
Step 2: Menu Design. Carri and Camilla collaborate to design a personalized menu of 5–10 meals, snacks, teas, and sides rooted in Ayurvedic wisdom and contemporary nutritional care.
Step 3: In-Home Cooking Session. Jamie arrives with groceries and fills your kitchen with warmth and aroma. In just a few hours, your fridge will be stocked with meals made with love and intention.
Step 4: Add-On Support. Want some help with laundry, bottles, or baby soothing while your meals are being prepared? Camilla can join your session for a hybrid postpartum doula visit.
Our Menus May Include:
Kitchari with ghee, ginger, and coriander
Oat and date porridge with cardamom and nutmeg
Bone broth-infused soups and stews
Sesame rice with stewed apples and fennel
Herbal infusions and lactation teas
Snack bites with tahini, flaxseed, dates, and coconut
Root vegetable roasts with warming oils and herbs
Service Area: Portland, Oregon & nearby communities. We accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and culturally specific diets.
Inspired by the teachings of Danielle Hanna and traditional Ayurvedic postpartum care, we invite you to let food become your first medicine as you settle into your new rhythm.
